The print shop located in the Woodward IRC provides a dedicated resource for academic and research print needs. We specialize in fast, reliable printing of wide format research posters, and offer services for:

Educational Media Support
Educational media support is provided to all UBC faculty and staff at no cost for eligible projects.
Whether we collaborate with you or you do it on your own, we want your project to be a success. Before commencing your project, UBC Studios recommends that you come and speak with us.

Dedicated studio spaces are available for faculty and staff to tackle their own educational media projects.
We offer:

We hold small media training workshops that focus on specific media-related topics, such as lighting and general filming tips, which are available for faculty and their student helpers.

The UBC Media Makers website is a resource for anyone looking for more direction on how to create their own DIY media project. On this website you will find a series of step-by-step guides on Live Action, Screencast, Animation or Audio productions.
UBC Studios also offers monthly DIY media support sessions on the last Wednesday of each month in the Main Studio from 10am to 11:30am. RSVP is strongly recommended for these sessions, however we also accept drop-ins for those who need specific help with their DIY projects.
